This is only possible when working to Meades standard of bookkeeping. Here’s why. Typical bookkeeping doesn’t give you accurate numbers. Your accountant will complete further checks, balances and adjustments to ensure that everything is accounted for and in the right place after your year-end (sometimes months later).
Your year-end is too late. We do this every month. That’s why Meades clients can use Xero as their realtime management accounts.
Our team will reconcile your wages, PAYE, NIC, Autoenrolment, CIS and inter-company accounts. Your fixed asset register is updated and depreciation posted. All HP and loan agreements are recorded correctly and reconciled to statements. Your WIP and stock is posted correctly. Finally, accruals and prepayments are posted. Without this additional work your figures will be incomplete and inaccurate.
When Xero is used correctly, reconciled regularly and the full functionality is unlocked for you, Xero will give you the information you need to run your business. Using our adapted reports, your management information will be available at any time, anywhere, on any device. But, it must be done properly.
