How Paul can help you
Paul specialises in saving tax for our clients and helping them grow their businesses. He does this by advising and guiding them in making strategic business decisions, as well as implementing systems to improve efficiency. He also helps them sleep well at night by protecting them from HMRC.
Paul joined his father in the Meades & Company Limited business after he finished University with an Accountancy degree in 1993. Paul invested in the company’s first computer system in 1996 which had to be ready for the new Self Assessment legislation.
The company moved to new premises at The Metro Centre in 2007 along with 7 employees.
In 2008 Paul’s father retired and it was at this point that Paul realised that the business needed to change from the traditional accountancy model if it was going to survive and thrive in the long term. This realisation was bought about by recognising that if HMRC and Company’s House didn’t exist then the firm would have no clients!
Since then Paul has steadily developed the company’s services to be able to provide effective business strategy, personal wealth and tax planning advice.
Recently, the biggest change to the company is the implementation of the cloud accounting system called Xero, which Paul believes will revolutionise the way accountancy firms collaborate with their clients. Paul’s foresight has enabled the team to be at the leading edge of this type of strategic alliance with our clients.
Paul enjoys family time with his daughter Holly. Legoland, Willows Activity Farm, Jungle Monkeyz, Gambado and Odds Farm Park are just some of their favourite days out. His personal passions are pretty much all sports but particularly football (Chelsea of course) and rugby. He also enjoys socialising at his local pub with family and friends.
